The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed its newest member, Champions Grill & The Greens Golf Course. Champions is a grill and pub serving up tasty food and drinks seven days a week. It’s located at The Greens Golf Course. Merchants announces retirement of president Jim Evans

After nearly 36 years of service to Merchants National Bank, James (Jim) D. Evans, president and chief operating officer, is retiring on Jan. 31. After serving as a consultant for the bank for five years, Evans joined MNB in January 1987 as executive vice president. Throughout his distinguished tenure, he has served in various leadership roles and been instrumental in growing MNB’s loan portfolio and branch network, according to a news release.

The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed Boxed Fitness to Washington C.H. as a Chamber member. Located at 1492 Yeoman Road NW, Boxed Fitness has worked hard to open this unique gym with customized daily workouts, group classes, functional fitness training, and kickboxing. Owned by Brooklyn and John McDonnell, Boxed Fitness opened its doors on Jan. 1. “At Boxed Fitness, we support all three elements of fitness (Spiritual, Mental and Physical) and put them into one box. City welcomes Heritage Meat Company

The City of Washington Court House recently presented a New Business Plaque to Heritage Meat Company, located at 604 Rose Ave. HMC is a family-owned meat processing and sales company. It provides harvest, processing, packaging, and value-added processing services for livestock (beef, pork, and lamb). HMC is a mid-sized meat processing plant, large enough to meet the capacity needs of the local agricultural community, but small enough to maintain personal contact with suppliers and customers alike. HMC is an ODA (Ohio Department of Agriculture) inspected facility.
