JEFFERSONVILLE — Indie and self-published authors can now promote and sell their books at Destination Outlets in Jeffersonville.

The Ohio Authors Book Fair, set for this Saturday, May 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., is organized by Social-Ally, an association created by self-published author, Theresa Garee, to help other self-published authors have opportunities to reach readers.

“Indie or self-published authors already must do a lot of leg work to market their books. This is an opportunity to expand their promotional and sales channels. This will be our second year at the same location, but we have many new authors, face painting and food trucks planned for the fair,” said Garee.

Thirty-nine Ohio authors have been confirmed for the event, traveling from as far as Columbus, Cincinnati, Springfield, and Clark County. There will be a variety of genres at the Ohio Authors Book Fair, from children to fantasy to horror and more.

The shopping center is centrally located right off Interstate 71 in Jeffersonville, and regularly hosts top-tier events aimed at bringing the local community together. Destination Outlets is a 400,000 square foot shopping complex featuring a variety of brand-name and designer outlet stores.
