Possessions you can have as a Christian

Did you ever have to make a list of all of your possessions for some insurance reasons or perhaps a will? If you have, I want you to notice that the things you listed are not lasting possessions, but you will leave them behind when you die. I want to give you three unspeakable possessions you can have as a Christian.

The first one is the gift of salvation found in II Corinthians 9:15, “Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift.”

The second one is the unspeakable experiences we have in II Corinthians 12:4, “How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.”

This scripture tells us that the Apostle Paul had an experience that was all his own; he owns it.

The third one is the unspeakable joy we can own which is found in I Peter 1:8, “Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.”

Three things we can own and never lose are salvation, experiences, and joy.

Mark 8:36 says, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”
