June and July are packed with events and Fayette Field Trips. Grab, download, or browse our full newsletter, and mark your calendars for free, fun, quality summer happenings!

The Carnegie Youth Garden Club meets at the library in Washington Court House on Fridays at 10:30 a.m. all summer long to tend the garden. Drop-in and get your hands dirty. Plants are in and pollinators are in bloom! There is something to see, learn, and do each week. Open to all students in grades 1-8.

The first “Fayette Field Trip” of the year takes place on Wednesday, June 7 at 11 a.m. at the Fayette County Airport! Learn about the airport, tour the facilities, and hop in a real plane! Meet at the airport for this unique tour!

Then, each Tuesday, at 11:15 a.m., the library hosts “Books & Babies.” “Books & Babies” is a 15-minute session specifically created for our youngest patrons to look at board books, do finger plays, bounce on laps and explore. This early literacy time will introduce your baby to the library and the world of books! Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. is Books & Blocks, for children 1 – 3 years old. Siblings are welcome at either session.

In Jeffersonville: On Monday, June 5 at 11 a.m. everyone is welcome to a program hosted by Patchwork Gardens! Stacy Wilt will teach everyone how to build a better world through gardening!
