Carnegie Reader of the Week

0

The Carnegie Public Library Reader of the Week is Carnegie’s circulation manager, Tim Penwell.

What are you reading now? What to Expect When You’re Expecting by Heidi Murkoff, in preparation for my son, due November 1st.

For me, reading is…a way to escape the stress of life, good and bad. The mind needs to “play.” If we do not give it a chance while we are awake, it will run rampant while we sleep!

What is your favorite format? Paperback, hardback, e-book? I love them all! Anything that delivers the story, no matter the format, is my favorite.

What do you do to unwind? I like to spend time with my fiance, and watch our 2-year-old daughter play.

What will inspire you to recommend a book? If a book can really pull me in, I will recommend it to everyone that lets me. Read The Giver by Lois Lowry!

What will you read next? Probably What to Expect the First Year by Heidi Murkoff!
