A new Fayette County Chamber of Commerce member was added this week. Glorious Cutz, located at 215 Lewis St., is open Tuesday through Thursday 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce welcomed new business Glorious Cutz to its membership this week at a formal ribbon cutting ceremony.

Located at 215 Lewis St., the business is owned by local resident Brennen Smith, who has always aspired to be a barber. “To me it’s kind of surreal. Something I’ve wanted to do for so long, its just a dream come true.”

Smith has been cutting hair since high school and is a graduate of the Ron West Barber College in Dayton, but it hasn’t always been easy. “The road that I came down to get here is a success story all its own.”

Smith wants the community to know in addition to hair cuts, his barbershop also provides traditional razor shaves. Open Tuesday through Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Smith invites everyone will come experience the welcoming atmosphere of Glorious Cutz.

“We are proud to welcome Brennen and Glorious Cutz to the community and the Fayette County Chamber and wish him much success,” said Chamber president Whitney Gentry.
