Wendy Decker and her granddaughter Gabriella Webb

Wendy Decker and her granddaughter Gabriella Webb are our featured Carnegie Readers of the Week.

Gabby loves a wide variety of books, among her favorites are Rapunzel and Frozen. She would love to meet Cinderella in person one day. Her favorite place to read the bean bag chair in the children’s section of Jeffersonville Branch Library.

Wendy loves mysteries by Joanne Fluke and when asked what the last great book she read was, Wendy said, “Creek Mary’s Blood” by Dee Brown, because she was fascinated about how the Indians lived. Wendy’s favorite place to read is at home with Gabriella. She is awaiting Sue Grafton’s next novel. Wendy orders books for Gabby and herself on the library website. One of the books she ordered and received this week made them both giggle as they read it, “Monsters Love Underpants.”

Asking what book changed her life, Wendy said the Bible because it’s the Word and we should live by it.
