Heroin, methamphetamine, pills and marijuana were found and a woman was arrested for allegedly trafficking drugs out of her Washington C.H. home Saturday night as the result of a police search warrant.
Officers from the Washington Police Department executed the search warrant at the residence located at 1119 Washington Ave. at around 8:40 p.m. Saturday. After the home was secured, the resident – Leilani M. Mosier, 37, – was advised of her Miranda rights and was questioned about selling drugs from her house, according to reports.
Police said that Mosier admitted to selling drugs and added that she uses them as well. Mosier was asked where her drugs were and she told police that they were under her pillow in a Crown Royal bag. She also allegedly said there were pills in a dresser drawer in a Crown Royal bag and other items inside another dresser drawer.
Police located the drugs as well as $452 in cash and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
Mosier was arrested and taken to the Fayette County Jail on a charge of trafficking in drugs within 1,000 feet of a school zone. Additionally, she was later charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She’s being held in the jail on a $10,000 bond.
Another resident, Gayle D. Mosier, 58, will be served a court summons, according to police. During the execution of the search warrant, Gayle Mosier was questioned concerning her knowledge of the drug trafficking. She reportedly told police that she doesn’t sell anything and that she just smokes some meth and marijuana. She informed officers of the location of her pipe and marijuana inside the residence.
