Students help design park district logo

Washington Middle School students Ally Cartwright, Wesley Pickering and Garren Walker were recently awarded $75 each after they helped the newly-formed Fayette Park District Board design a logo. The board liked all three designs from the students, but ended up pulling them together to form the complete logo, which will soon become used in many places to represent the district for years to come. The students are pictured with (back row, L to R): WMS art teacher Tami Rose and Fayette Park District Board members Angie Tackett and Bob Pitakos.
