Denim & Diamonds – Feb. 24
Join the Fayette County Cancer Support Foundation for its annual fundraiser Denim & Diamonds. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Mahan Building in Washington Court House. Enjoy a great meal, live and silent auction. Tickets are $75 per person. All proceeds from this event support cancer patients in Fayette County with their medical expenses.
Pop Up Beer Tasting – Feb. 24
From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Salty Broads Patio will be offering craft beer flights as well as ice-cold cans of PBR. Salty will be soliciting feedback on the beer selection. Tell us what you like, and what would make your experience better. Free water with every flight and free popcorn with every purchase.
Jefferson Twp. Trustees meeting – Feb. 26
Due to Presidents’ Day, the regularly-scheduled meeting for Feb. 19 at Jefferson Township has been rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the township office. The public is always welcome.
All About Self Esteem – Feb. 27
Starting at 11 a.m. at Carnegie Library, join Tristin from Adena Fayette Medical Center’s Senior Life Solutions program for a presentation about self-esteem to improve the mental health of seniors. Discuss what self-esteem is, coping skills to improve it, self-care, and building support systems. Information will also be provided for the Senior Life Solutions program.
Acorn Intention Necklace Workshop – March 1
From 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., join Sylvia at Indigo Roots Studio to create your own unique acorn necklace that can be filled with your choice of herbs, natural stones and crystals, and any kind of meaningful intention you’d like to write out on a small scroll of paper. Spots are limited to 20 for this workshop, and all items necessary to create your own woodland acorn necklace will be included. The self-investment cost for this workshop will be $33.
Adena Fayette Volunteers Books & Gift Sale – March 4
The Adena Fayette Medical Center Volunteers will be sponsoring a Books and Gift one day sale on Monday, March 4, 9 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. in the Adena Fayette County Medical Center Boardroom (next to the gift shop), 1430 Columbus Ave. in Washington C.H. Come check it out. Books, along with many other products, at great prices. Proceeds will benefit patient care projects. The volunteers appreciate the community’s caring support.

From 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., join the Fayette Regional Humane Society for an evening of fundraising and celebrating animals.
