The Washington Blue Lion boys golf team held their end-of-season banquet on Monday, Oct. 23 at Champions Grill.

Head coach Shannon Bartruff shared some comments about his seniors following the banquet.

“I would like to say thanks to Champions Grill for providing the food for our awards. Congrats to John Wall and Garrett Wahl for both earning Honorable Mention All-District and Academic All-Ohio. These seniors are leaving quite the legacy for Blue Lion golf. They won three consecutive Frontier Athletic Conference championships and finished second this year in the league. They are great young men with bright futures. Whatever they choose to do, they will be successful. Their parents should be very, very proud.”
