According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

July 31

Possession of Drugs: At 7:44 p.m., officers responded to a suspicious person complaint on Glenn Avenue at Victoria Street. Officers located the offender, who appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. Officers obtained consent to search the offender, at which point drugs were located and seized for evidence processing.

July 29

Theft: At 7:58 a.m., officers made contact with the victim, who advised that unknown person(s) stole several items from a storage location. A report was completed.

Misuse of Credit Card: At 3:44 p.m., the complainant came to the police department to report credit card usage on her deceased father’s account. The complaint advised that prior to her father’s passing, his bank account was emptied. A report was completed.

July 25

Theft of a Motor Vehicle: At 5:58 a.m., officers responded to 615 Campbell St. in reference to a theft of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, contact was made with the victim, who advised that sometime overnight her vehicle was stolen. A report was completed.

July 23

Disturbance/Disorderly Conduct: At 7:17 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of 548 Clinton Ave. (Kroger) in reference to a male and female arguing. Upon arrival, the two were identified as Levi D. Green and Trinity E. Binegar, who were previously given disorderly conduct warnings for their behavior. Green was arrested and transported to the Fayette County Jail. Binegar was issued a summons to appear.

Assault: At 8:30 p.m., officers responded to 205 N. Fayette St. in reference to an active fight between two subjects. Officers arrived and spoke with both subjects and multiple witnesses. The victim and witnesses stated that Nicholas Buckner head-butted the victim while they were in an argument. Buckner was arrested for assault (first-degree misdemeanor) and was transported to the Fayette County Jail.
