Washington Court House Memorial Day ceremony May 29

On Monday, May 29, the Memorial Day ceremony will be at the Washington Cemetery starting at 10 a.m. Following the 10 a.m. ceremony, the Fayette County Honor Guard will be heading to St. Colman Catholic Cemetery for a short ceremony that will begin at 11 a.m. After this ceremony, they will break for lunch at the American Legion Post 25, and the community is welcome. The Honor Guard will end their day with another short ceremony at the Highlawn Cemetery starting at 1 p.m.

Jeffersonville Memorial Day Parade

The annual Memorial Day Parade in the Village of Jeffersonville will take place on Monday at 10 a.m. to honor the fallen soldiers. The parade will start at Woodsview Drive and will end at the Veterans Memorial. It will be around 45 minutes long, and anyone and everyone is welcome to join the parade.

Retired Teachers to meet

The Fayette County Retired Teachers Association will meet on Thursday, June 1 in Grace UMC Fellowship Hall. Please enter through the North Street entrance. The social hour will begin at 11 a.m. with the meal to follow at noon. The cost for the meal is $13. The program for this meeting will include the honoring of a scholarship recipient, a presentation by the Scioto Paint Valley Mental Health, and a 50/50 Raffle.

Jeffersonville HS Class Reunion set

The Jeffersonville High School Class Reunion will be held on June 3 at the Jeffersonville Lions Club. Social hour will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The meal will start at 6:30 p.m. For more information, contact Jim Cook at 937-302-0549.

Republican Women’s Club to meet

The Fayette County Republican Women’s Club will meet Thursday, June 8 at 6 p.m. at the Center for Economic Development, 101 E. East St. in Washington Court House. New members are welcome.
