Miami Trace tennis defeats Jackson

On a beautiful Tuesday afternoon, April 11, the Miami Trace tennis team hosted Jackson for a Frontier Athletic Conference match.

The Panthers won the match, three courts to two.

The highlight of the match may well have been Carter Bainter at second singles. He defeated Jackson’s Garrett Cooper in a three-set match that lasted two hours and 45 minutes and gave the overall match win to Miami Trace.

The Panthers improved to 2-0 in the FAC with the win.

At first singles, Jacob Pettit-Dinardo lost, 2-6, 3-6.

In the above-mentioned second singles match, Bainter won, 6-3, 6-7 (6-8), 6-2.

At third singles, Kaiden Howard lost, 4-6, 1-6.

Maimi Trace won both doubles matches.

Jacob Cline and Jonah Goddard won at first doubles, 6-0, 6-2.

At second doubles, Tucker Walton and Robbie Bennett won, 6-1, 6-2.
