Washington High School senior Morgan Cartwright recently won the DECA state competition in the category of Retail Merchandising, held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Columbus Convention Center. Cartwright has qualified to the national competition in Orlando, which will be held April 22-25. Also qualifying to the national competition from Washington were Maggi Wall, Addison Chambers, and Madison Hayes.
