John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

A little girl was asked to quote this verse. She got it all right except instead of saying God’s only begotten son, she said God’s only forgotten son. I am afraid she was right. Today many have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas.

Matthew 1:21, “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shall call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.”

This Christmas season, let us not forget Calvary. This is why he was born, to die for our sins.

Remember Matthew 1:23, “Behold a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name EMMANUEL, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Wise men still seek him!
