CHILLICOTHE — The Washington Blue Lion boys bowling team competed in the Division II Sectional tournament Friday, Feb. 14 at Shawnee Lanes in Chillicothe.
Washington placed 10th out of 22 teams with a team score of 3,118.
Hillsboro won the Sectional with a score of 3,877.
Also qualifying to the District tournament were Unioto, second with a 3,736; Zane Trace, third with a 3,457 and Gallia Academy, fourth with a 3,381.
Out of a field of 121 bowlers, Washington junior Owen Mullins was 35th with a 486 series.
Senior Kylan Rowland was 40th with a 467; junior Garrett Coy was 48th with a 449 and freshman Jordan Pottle was 66th with a 413.
Sophomore Drew Ferguson bowled two games (110 and 143) and junior Dakota Oyer bowled a 115 game.
Washington had baker game scores of 195, 181, 129, 152, 147 and 131 for a 935 total.
Hillsboro freshman Zach Ison won the Sectional with a 691 series.
McClain was 15th with a 2,997 score.
Miami Trace will compete in the Division I District tournament Friday, Feb. 28 at Sunrise Strikes in Zanesville.
