According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Aug. 6

Violation of Protection Order: At 11:23 p.m., officers responded to 432 Fourth St. on a call of a protection order violation. Officers found Dillon Manning and a woman in the residence together, and the woman reportedly had an active protection order against Manning. Charges were filed.

Aug. 4

Disorderly Conduct/Resisting Arrest: At 3:38 a.m., officers were asked to check the welfare of a male at a residence on Forrest Street. Contact was made with the male who was found to be intoxicated, and became agitated with the officers. He was advised to discontinue his behavior, but failed to do so. The male was arrested and during the arrest, he resisted officers while being placed into custody. The male, identified as Daniel R. Nelson, was charged with the listed offenses.

Inducing Panic: At 6:58 a.m., police received a complaint of an armed male resident who was reportedly en route to a residence in the county to do physical harm to a person who lives there. The male, identified as David G. Curl, was located by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office and was taken into custody for the offense.

Aug. 3

Theft: Perry Elzey, Jr. reported that unknown person(s) removed a homemade wagon from his backyard without his permission.

July 31

Receiving Stolen Property/Failure to Comply/Felonious Assault/Obstructing Official Business: At 12:43 p.m. while on patrol, an officer located an entered stolen vehicle from Madison County in the 500 block of South Fayette Street, and a traffic stop was attempted. However, the vehicle fled and a pursuit ensued. During the pursuit, the vehicle drove through numerous yards and fields, and intentionally struck a cruiser in an attempt to get away. The vehicle became disabled in a field near Rowe-Ging Road, and the occupants fled on foot. Both were apprehended a short distance from the vehicle. The driver, Tyler J. Stone, was charged with receiving stolen property, failure to comply and felonious assault. A female passenger, Katherine Jo Ross, was charged with obstructing official business.
