The eighth meeting of the Charm-N-Farm 4-H Club was held on May 21 at St. Colman Parish Center.
President Clare Sollars called the meeting to order at 12 p.m. Pledges were led by Katrina Koski and Courtney Arnold. Secretary Laura Robinson conducted roll call. Treasurer Spencer Minyo provided the club with his report. A packet detailing measures to stay safe during storms was passed out on behalf of safety officer Mcale Callahan.
Environmental officer Claudia Fuller reported to the club on the danger of E-Coli. Rick Garrison, environmental health director for the Fayette County Health Department, spoke to the club about the food safety inspections he conducts to ensure the fairgrounds are safe.
Under “old business,” member Lilly Hamilton reported on the collection of canned foods for the Fayette County Food Pantry. Under “new business,” president Sollars informed the club of project judging dates.
Trevor Minyo moved to adjourn the meeting and Therese Robinson seconded.
