The Fayette County community is invited to a Hymn Festival Sunday, June 4 at 3 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, located on the corner of Market and North streets in Washington C.H.

The festival will be lead by Rev. Gary Arnold, former organist at Grace UMC. He currently is pastor of worship, communication and liturgical arts at the Lake Oconee Community Church (locc.co), Greenville, Ga. Previously, he served 14 years as organist and minister of fine arts at St. Mark UMC in downtown Atlanta, and was music assistant at Cannon Chapel, Candler Theological Seminary of Emory University.

Gary, along with a brass quartet from the Fayette County Community Band, Grace Chancel Bells, Chancel Choir, and other area musicians, will lead a service filled with audience participation in singing traditional as well as contemporary praise songs.

All are welcome to join June 4 at 3 p.m. for a great hour of music.
