MT softball routs Cavs, 18-5

The Miami Trace varsity softball team began the 2017 with an SCOL game against Chillicothe Wednesday, March 29.

Miami Trace won the game in a rout, 18-5.

The Lady Panthers broke the game open with 11 runs in the third inning.

Olivia Wolffe started and was the winning pitcher for Miami Trace. She struck out six and allowed two earned runs.

The Miami Trace j-v softball team trounced Chillicothe, 22-6.

Alyssa Pettit got the win, pitching three innings with three earned runs on five hits.

Miami Trace collected 17 hits and committed just two errors.

Miami Trace plays a doubleheader today at Zane Trace beginning at 11 a.m.
