AAUW annual book sale is here

The Annual Book Sale with AAUW is on! And there are many books for sale. The proceeds help fund scholarships offered by the American Association of University Women and will also become part of the Carnegie Public Library’s general fund to be used for building maintenance, collection development and technology. The Book Sale will take place today (Thursday) through Saturday in the library meeting room. Thursday, Sept. 19 and Friday, Sept. 20 the sale (50 cents per book) hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday “Bargain Day” ($1 per bag of books) the sale runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
