Locals perform in University of Mount Union Christmas Festival

The Concert Choir and Cantus Femina at the University of Mount Union performed “The Glad Season, the Peace of Christmas” at this year’s Christmas Festival. The following students performed in the concert:

– Ashton Carr, freshman English major, from Washington C.H. and George Carr, junior theatre and music major, from Washington C.H.

There were performances on Thursday, Dec. 7, Friday, Dec. 8 and Saturday, Dec. 9.

The choirs performed “O Holy Night,” “O, Come All Ye Faithful,” “Sweet Little Jesus Boy” and “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing,” among others.

Concert choir is open by audition to all students on campus and it is comprised of students from a wide variety of academic disciplines. Cantus Femina is an all-female choir with the goals of discovering and performing outstanding repertoire for women’s voices.
