According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

April 24

Assault: At 3:13 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of East East Street on reports of a male in a blue Nissan Altima allegedly punching his girlfriend. Officers later spoke with the victim, ,who advised that an argument had ensued and her boyfriend backhanded her with a closed fist while driving. The victim sustained a laceration to her eye, along with swelling. The offender, identified as Christopher John Burnett, 43, was located and subsequently arrested for first-degree misdemeanor assault.

Violation of Protection Order: At 7:49 p.m., an officer observed the victim and alleged offender in the same vehicle together. The officer ran a wants and warrants check on the offender and learned he was the respondent in a protection order against the victim who was in the vehicle. The officer made contact with the offender, identified as Richard Dontay Rickman, 41, and he was arrested for fifth-degree felony violation of a protection order.

April 21

Possession of Drugs/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: At 4:01 p.m. while on a traffic stop, officers made contact with a female who had active warrants. After being arrested, officers located suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia.
