WILMINGTON — The Washington Lady Lions traveled to the Wilmington Elks 797 Golf Course on Thursday, Sept. 14 to take on the Clinton-Massie Lady Falcons in a non-conference golf match.
Clinton-Massie defeated Washington by a score of 174 to 213. Although the Lady Lions did not win, they set a team record and each girl shot a personal best for the season.
Statistically for the Lady Falcons, Grace Boone led and was the medalist with a 35, followed by Stormie Stroud with a 39, Charlotte Robinson with a 48, and Rylee Long with a 52.
Statistically for Washington, Faith Wynne led with a 39, followed by Jordyn Gray with a 55, Gwen Duncan with a 59, Leah Marine with a 60, and Kaylee Perkins with a 67.
The Lady Lions will compete again on Monday, Sept. 18 at Buckeye Hills Country Club in the Frontier Athletic Conference Championship.
