Miami Trace class of 2018 member Katie Seyfang opened her 2023 outdoor season competing at the Raleigh Relays on Thursday, March 23. Seyfang achieved a new personal-best distance of 51’ 1.75” (15.59m). She finished second overall in the competition, trailing her teammate Katrin Brzyszkowska who won the event with a throw of 51’ 9.25” (15.78m).
