According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Oct. 17

Theft: At 11:37 a.m., an employee of Fibertech reported that a check mailed to a vendor had not arrived and was fraudulently cashed.

Oct. 16

Disorderly Conduct/Possession of Drug Abuse Instrument: At 7:55 p.m., Arthur Johnson, of North North Street, was arrested after officers located him causing a disturbance, then laying down in the Frisch’s parking lot. Officers made contact with Johnson earlier in the day for the same strange erratic actions. Upon contact, a baggie of an unknown white powder was located in his hand, and after being arrested, a syringe commonly used to ingest drugs was located. Additional charges are pending.

Oct. 13

Drug Paraphernalia: At 6:14 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on Ryan Mercer. During the traffic stop, Mercer admitted to having narcotics in the vehicle. Officers also located drug paraphernalia. Mercer was arrested and transported to the jail.

Oct. 11

Obstructing Official Business: At 7:29 p.m., officers responded to 803 S. Hinde St. in reference to a domestic. Upon arrival, contact was made with Danniel Minshall, who lied to officers about his identity. After a short time, officers were able to correctly identify Minshall and it was discovered he had multiple warrants for his arrest. Minshall was arrested for obstructing official business and the warrants.
