According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

July 5

Theft: Employees of Walmart reported a theft that occurred on June 30. The same male involved in the theft was arrested in Walmart in Circleville on July 4. Charges were then filed on Gary Bigham III, of Stoutsville, for the Washington C.H. Walmart theft.

Failure to Comply with Order or Signal: At 10:03 p.m. after receiving several complaints of a vehicle with no lights veering in traffic, an officer attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle failed to stop and continued traveling several blocks before pulling over. The driver, Brandon Penrod, of Forest Street, was charged with failure to comply, as well as several traffic violations.

Disorderly Conduct: At 11:29 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance/possible assault call and located a male and a female walking in the roadway. After speaking with them, both were given disorderly conduct warnings and were advised to separate for the evening if needed. A short time later, officers were again dispatched to a loud disturbance involving the same male. Troy Bryan, of Campbell Street, was arrested in the incident.

Domestic Violence: At 5:11 p.m., Phillip Collie, of Heritage Drive, was arrested after a report of domestic violence was received that occurred at his residence.
