The WCH Encore Foundation is once again hosting a benefit concert for the Historic Washington Auditorium. The concert includes a performance from the chart-topping, “We Are Messengers,” as they bring “The Wholehearted Tour” to Fayette County.

The concert is scheduled for Friday, April 22, at the Historic Washington Auditorium, located on Temple Street in Washington Court House.

As previously reported, the Encore Foundation is a community group that has been started by local artists, musicians, theatre enthusiasts, etc. to provide the arts to the community.

Tickets are on sale now at www.WeAreMessengersMusic.com. All proceeds will benefit the refurbishing and rejuvenation of the historic performance venue.

The Wholehearted Tour features We Are Messengers alongside special guests, Apollo LTD and Stephen Stanley.

Presented by Food for the Hungry, the performance will begin at 7 p.m. It follows the band’s current run on Casting Crowns’ 24-city Healer Tour, where We Are Messengers will play in front of thousands at arenas across the country.

“Honestly, I just can’t wait to be face-to-face with our friends and fans again,” said We Are Messengers frontman Darren Mulligan. “We’ve been waiting two years for this. We need one another more than ever and we are so ready to be with everyone in God’s presence, rejoicing and singing these songs of hope. Everyone should come ready to get rowdy and sing with us at the top of their lungs. We’ve all been carrying wounds and hurt for much too long and our prayer is that The Wholehearted Tour will take that load off and remind us of the goodness of God.”

The Wholehearted Tour takes its name from the award-winning group’s third full-length studio album, Wholehearted, which dropped in October. Wholehearted boasts the band’s chart-topping hit single, “Come What May,” which has maintained the #1 position on the Mediabase CCM Audience chart for the past 15 weeks and the past four weeks on Billboard’s Christian Airplay chart.

Tickets for The Wholehearted Tour are on sale now at www.wearemessengersmusic.com.

The WCH Encore Foundation is dedicated to supporting the arts in the community. For more information on how to get involved, contact 740-335-6620.
