According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Jan. 25

Theft: At 1:46 p.m., officers responded to Walmart in reference to a male making fraudulent returns. George Shadley, of Staunton-Sugar Grove Road, was arrested in the incident.

Domestic Violence by Threats: At 3:12 p.m., Brittany Myers, of Ohio Avenue, was arrested after a family member reported that she made threats to cause physical harm.

Theft: At 4:21 p.m., Patti Locey, of Delaware Street, reported the theft of her license plate from her vehicle.

Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: At 9:24 p.m. while on a traffic stop, officers made contact with and arrested Chad Leeth, of Jamison Road, who was a passenger in the vehicle. Syringes and drug paraphernalia were located in Leeth’s possession.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia/Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments: At 11:50 a.m., Paul Myers, of Grace Street, was arrested after officers located drug paraphernalia and syringes while on a traffic stop with a vehicle that Myers was a passenger in.
