Police Incidents

According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

July 10

Criminal Damaging: At 2:44 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Davis Court in reference to a criminal damaging complaint. Upon arrival, contact was made with property management, who advised unknown person(s) had damaged the door frame to a vacant apartment.

Criminal Trespass/Theft/Obstructing: At 3:48 p.m., officers were dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft. When loss prevention tried to stop Nicole Holzen, she fled on foot. Holzen then got into a vehicle and a traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle a short distance later. Holzen lied about her identification to officers. It was also found that she had previously been banned from Walmart.

Disorderly Conduct/Drug Abuse Instrument: At 9:24 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Hong Kong Buffet in reference to Dashon Harris acting suspicious. Upon contact with Harris, he was under the influence of drugs. Harris was arrested and during a search, used hypodermic needles were located on his person.

July 9

Assault: Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Clemson Plaza in reference to an assault. Contact was made with the victim and a witness, who advised that Brett Sanders had assaulted the victim. The victim had visible signs of assault. Sanders was arrested and transported to the jail to be held.

July 8

Assault/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia/Drug Abuse Instrument: At 2:13 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Second Chance building in reference to Randy Ruth assaulting a victim. While officers were en-route, Ruth was located. Officers made contact with the victim, who had visible signs of being assaulted. Ruth was then placed under arrest. During a search, suspected drugs, drug paraphernalia and used hypodermic needles were located. Ruth was transported to the jail to be held.

July 7

Theft: At 11:28 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Gregg Street in reference to a theft of medication. Contact was made with the victim, who advised unknown person(s) had stolen medication.

Wanted Person: At 8:19 p.m., officers were advised that Anthony Darthard was incarcerated at the Fayette County Jail. Darthard was held on active bench warrants and was served his copy of the warrants.
