According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

March 11

Obstructing/Resisting Arrest: Officers made contact with Justin Wilson while investigating a suspicious vehicle at the Blue Stone Inn. Wilson was found to have an active warrant for his arrest and ran from officers when confronted. Wilson then fought with officers when they attempted to take him into custody. Wilson was charged with resisting arrest and obstructing official business.

Theft: An employee of Top Dollar Pawn reported the theft of a firearm from the store at an unknown date and time. A report for theft was taken.

March 10

Identity Fraud: Dennis Kolle reported that unknown person(s) had taken personal documents and a credit card without his consent and attempted to open a line of credit with the information. A report for theft and identity fraud was taken.

Drugs: While investigating a citizen complaint, officers made contact with Zachary Dickens. Dickens was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, and was subsequently charged with the offense.

Theft: Officers responded to Walmart after receiving a complaint from an employee of a theft in progress. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Destiny Long, of Columbus, who was suspected of the theft. A subsequent investigation revealed that Long had committed a theft offense and attempted to conceal the stolen items during the investigation. Long was subsequently charged with tampering with evidence, theft and obstructing official business.

Burglary: Juliana Kreider reported that unknown person(s) entered through the back door of her residence and ransacked the inside. A report for burglary was taken.
