Police Incidents

According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Feb. 13

Drugs: During a traffic stop, two of the vehicle’s passengers were found to be in possession of syringes. Katie Creed and Rebecca Hall were both charged with the offense.

Drugs: While checking a suspicious person at the Blue Stone Inn, officers found the subject to be in possession of narcotics. The subject attempted to swallow the suspected narcotics as officers approached. A report for possession of drugs was taken.

Domestic Violence: The police department received a walk-in complaint of a domestic violence incident. The female victim advised that she was assaulted by the father of her child during a verbal altercation. A report for domestic violence was taken and a warrant was issued for the offender’s arrest.

Feb. 12

Domestic Violence: Bryan Whitt was taken into custody and charged with domestic violence after the police department received a complaint from the victim that he struck her in the face. The victim received minor injuries from the assault.

Stolen Vehicle: Robert Curnutte advised that unknown person(s) took his 2000 Honda CRV without his permission sometime during the overnight hours. A report for motor vehicle theft was taken.

Theft: Pete Jones, of Walmart Asset Protection, reported that two known subjects departed the store with merchandise without paying. A report for theft was taken and warrants were issued for their arrests.

Feb. 8

Theft: At 10:49 a.m., Mark Davis, of North Glenn Street, reported that items were removed from his room at Court House Manor without his permission.

Breaking and Entering/Theft/Criminal Damaging: At 12:56 p.m., Sharon Armbrust, of Cedar Street, reported that an unknown person cut and removed the lock on her storage unit. Once inside, items were taken without her permission.
