Local OSU Alumni Club to hold Wellness Challenge in February

The OSU Alumni Club of Fayette County is encouraging club members, fellow Buckeye fans and all Fayette County residents to join in a month-long program designed to promote health and wellness.

This local program, entitled “Miles and Minutes,” is part of a larger promotion by the university’s Alumni Association.

“Almost all of us can benefit physically and mentally as well as in other ways by increasing our physical activity. Committing to do that is an individual choice and usually starts with an individual plan. Ask yourself what is a realistic goal for you, and set out to make it happen,” said Pat Gall, project chairperson.

Club members have been mailed information and report forms. All others who want to participate can receive forms by calling Pat at 740-572-1842 or by emailing the club email: [email protected].

“Did you know that the stairway in the front of the Fayette County Administrative Offices Building at 133 East Main Street is exactly 80 steps from basement to top floor and easily accessible from the front door? Does that sound like a challenge?” Gall concluded.
