The New Holland United Methodist Women held their Sept. 10 meeting in the home of Jodi Kirkpatrick.

Ann Thompson, president of the New Holland UMW, welcomed all. Kay Oughterson gave the devotions. Betsy McFadden gave the secretary’s report. The treasurer’s report was given by Pat Taylor.

An update on the World Prayer Calendar of United Methodist Women and projects world-wide was given by Pat Taylor. Mission time “Live” was presented by Taylor.

The District United Methodist Women meeting will be held Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Hillard United Methodist Church. A donation was given to United Methodist Conference for tornado help for the Dayton area.

A report on reading books available was presented. Contact Shirley Tarbill for books.

Ideas for program and committee are needed for the Nov. 12 meeting. Contact Ann Thompson if you have ideas.

The “Walk to Emmas” will be held in Wilmington Oct. 24 to Oct. 27.

An outstanding program, “Esther,” was presented by Kay Oughterson.

The Oct. 9 meeting will be held at the home of Samantha Dunham at 7:30 p.m. Devotions and program will be presented by Dunham, and refreshments will be served by Ann Thompson.

Refreshments were served by Jodi Kirkpatrick and enjoyed by all.
