According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

June 17

Burglary: Brandy Havens reported that unknown person(s) entered her apartment and removed two air conditioner units without her permission. A report for burglary and theft was taken.

June 16

Assault: Police were notified of an assault that occurred at Sugar Creek Packing involving an employee. A subsequent investigation revealed that Angel Torres had assaulted his live-in girlfriend and then took her vehicle without permission. Torres was subsequently arrested and charged with domestic violence and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Trespassing: Amanda Jones was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespass after she entered a property that she had recently been given a trespass warning for.

Theft: Noah Hutchinson reported that unknown person(s) pried his vehicle door open and removed several items between the dates of June 6 and June 16. A report for theft was taken.

Disturbance: Police responded to the 1000 block of Lakeview Avenue after they received two 911 calls from a female requesting an ambulance. A subsequent investigation revealed that a physical altercation occurred between Shinchi Nakahara and the female caller. Nakahara was taken into custody and charged with domestic violence.

Theft: Miracle Newland reported that a bag containing cosmetology items was taken from her apartment without her permission. A report for theft was taken.

June 15

Theft: At 2:30 a.m., Jeffrey Nebbergall reported that unknown persons stole his XBox One S from his residence sometime overnight. A theft report was completed.

Theft: At 7:30 a.m., officers responded to Fiber-Tech in reference to a theft complaint. It was determined that Joseph Adams stole another employee’s backpack. The items was returned and Adams was arrested for theft.

Criminal Trespassing: At 10:25 a.m., Ronnie Morris reported that his brother, Jerob Morris, entered his residence without permission. Once he was advised to depart he did so. A criminal trespassing report was completed and referred to the city solicitor.

Disorderly Conduct: At 6:05 p.m., officers responded to the 800 block of East Market Street in reference to a male unresponsive. Nathaniel Snively was intoxicated and passed out from his intoxication level. He was arrested for the offense.

Telecommunications Harassment: At 6:08 p.m., a woman reported that Carl Penwell has been sending unwanted Facebook posts to her and her boyfriend. A telecommunications harassment report was completed and referred to the city solicitor.

June 14

Possession of Meth/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: At 12:01 a.m., officers arrested Richard Brannon in the parking lot of Kroger on an outstanding bench warrant. During a search incident to the arrest, drugs and drug paraphernalia were located.

Disorderly Conduct: At 2:16 a.m., officers responded to 526 Fourth St. in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers could hear the residents arguing from outside of the residence. Contact was made with Krystal and William Blair, who were intoxicated. Both were issued citations.

Criminal Damaging: Heather Williams reported that sometime overnight, unknown persons threw a brick through the back window of her vehicle. A criminal damaging report was completed.

June 13

Theft of Motor Vehicle: At 6:44 a.m., Danielle Coleman reported that sometime overnight, her unlocked vehicle was stolen from outside of her residence. A vehicle theft report was completed.

Assault: At 11:52 a.m., a woman reported that she was assaulted by a man while at her residence. She had visible signs of being assaulted, but was unsure if she wanted to file charges and was referred to the city solicitor.

Theft: At 2:02 p.m., Bethany Benson reported that unknown persons stole prescription medication from her residence during a cookout the day prior. A theft report was completed.

June 12

Possession of Meth/Possession of Marijuana/Drug Paraphernalia/Illegal Possession of a Food Stamp Card: At 1:21 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office K9 was utilized and indicated on the vehicle. The driver, Patricia Burlile, had an outstanding warrant for her arrest and was in possession of marijuana and another’s food stamp card. A passenger, Cathy White, was in possession of suspected meth and drug paraphernalia. Both were arrested and charged accordingly.

Theft: At 2:10 p.m., Becca Butcher reported that while at work at Pat Catans, an unknown person stole personal property from a shopping cart. A theft report was completed.

Theft: At 3:30 p.m., Dominque Williamson reported that while in municipal court, his cell phone was stolen. It was discovered that Justin T. Smith was the offender. A theft report was completed and charges filed.

June 11

Carrying Concealed Weapon/Drug Paraphernalia: At 6:12 a.m., officers responded to Pettits BP, 303 E. Court St., in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Officers made contact with Cadwick Price, who was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Officers located drugs and drug paraphernalia on his person. In the vehicle, officers located a large knife, which was readily at hand.

Criminal Trespassing: At 8:01 a.m., officers responded to Walmart and were advised that Randy Nichols Jr. was in the store prior to the officers’ arrival. When confronted, Nichols departed. Nichols was previously banned from the business. Charges were filed.
