According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Dec. 16

Larceny: At 11:44 a.m., Christopher Landenburg, of 315 Worley St., reported that he had loaned a Samsung cell to Krisa Woods, who never returned the phone.

Dec. 15

Criminal Damaging: At 1:42 a.m., Laci Mollett reported that a known person caused damage to the walls, furniture and cabinets inside her residence.

Dec. 14

Criminal Damaging: At 11:55 a.m., an employee of Smartstop self storage on Victoria Street reported that unknown person(s) cut an area out of the chain link fence that surrounds the property.

Drug Paraphernalia/Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments/Possession of Dangerous Drugs/Disorderly Conduct: At 11:23 p.m., officers were called to Fayette Landing on Rawling Street in reference to a trespassing complaint. While making contact with persons in the room, a male identified as Zachary J. Burgess was found to have a warrant for his arrest. During his arrest he was found in possession of dangerous drugs, drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia. He was additionally charged with the drug offenses. The other male present, identified as William E. Butcher, was arrested for disorderly conduct due to his actions during the investigation.

Dec. 10

Criminal Damaging: At 4:20 p.m., Miracle Thurman, of 903 Broadway St., reported that someone egged her vehicle and spray painted the vinyl siding on her home.

Burglary: At 4:25 p.m., Darlene Lane, of 326 Lewis St., reported that someone had entered her unlocked home and removed cash and prescription medication.

Dec. 9

Theft: At 8 p.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of Columbus Avenue in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival officers made contact with the complainant, Miranda R. Tackett, who advised that unknown person(s) removed a television from her room at the Bluestone Inn. A theft report was taken on the victim’s behalf.

Dec. 6

Theft: At 10 a.m., officers responded to the 400 block of East Market Street in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival officers made contact with the complainant, Christian Ruth, who advised that Brittany Gorman had used his cell phone and did not return it. A theft report was taken on the complainant’s behalf.
