MT boys bowling wins 1st 3 matches

The Miami Trace boys bowling team traveled to Wilmington to take on Clinton-Massie on Nov. 19.

Andrew Amore rolled a 240 high game score and a 466 series for the two keg games.

Conner Collins opened his high school career with a 213 game.

The Panthers did just fine with their season-opening win, according to head coach Ron Amore Sr.

Miami Trace had a team total of 2,111 to 1,834 for the Falcons.

“We expect more from these young men as they improve and work hard,” Amore said. “We have a good group led by Jay Caudill, Mike West, James Kysor, Conner Collins and Andrew Amore.”

On Monday, Nov. 26, the Miami Trace boys had their second Frontier Athletic Conference match with Chillicothe.

The Panthers were led by Andrew Amore with games of 253 and 247.

Conner Collins rolled a 225 game and James Kysor had a 209 game.

After all games were counted, Miami Trace totalled a 2,448 to 2,092 for Chillicothe.

On Wednesday, Nov. 29, Miami Trace met with East Clinton.

The Panthers were led to a team victory by Jay Caudill with a 232 game.

James Kysor rolled a 213 and Mike West had games of 213 and 213.

Andrew Amore came in with a 247 and a 216 game.

Miami Trace had a final team total of 2,424 to 1,840 for East Clinton.

Miami Trace has a match coming up on Thursday at Hillsboro.

The Panthers play their home matches at LeElla Lanes.
