According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Nov. 25

Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle: At 11:55 a.m., Harold Christman, of 1004 Willard St., reported that Kristopher Reid took his vehicle without his permission. Charges were filed.

Nov. 24

Theft/Criminal Damaging: At 6 a.m., officers responded to the 300 block of South Glenn Avenue in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the complainant, Kristen K. Gardner, who advised that unknown person(s) broke a window of her vehicle and stole a purse. A theft and criminal damaging report was taken on the victim’s behalf.

Theft: At 6:52 p.m., officers responded to the 1300 block of Leesburg Avenue (Walmart) in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival, officers made contact with employees who advised that the offender, Steven R. Emrick, had concealed merchandise in his person. Emrick was charged with the listed offense.

Receiving Stolen Property: Officers responded to 70 Washington Square (Family Dollar) in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival, officers made contact with employees, who advised the offender, Brittany L. Gorman, concealed unpaid merchandise on her person and departed the store. The offender was located in the area and charged with the listed offense.

Obstructing/Criminal Damaging/Disorderly Conduct by Fighting: At 11:17 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Florence Street in reference to a fight complaint. Upon arrival, officers made contact with offenders, Justin J. Harr and Paul J. Penwell. The victim advised that Harr caused damage to property inside the home from the fight. Harr and Penwell were charged with obstructing and disorderly conduct by fighting. Harr was additionally charged with criminal damaging.
