According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Oct. 29

Larceny: At 6:31 p.m., Robert Draves, of 838 S. Glenn Ave., reported that his son, Phillip Draves, used his credit card to make several unauthorized purchases.

Oct. 28

Disorderly Conduct: Officers made contact with Mardy L. Smith while investigating a disturbance complaint on Lakeview Avenue. Smith was found to be intoxicated and was subsequently arrested and charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication.

Obstructing Official Business: Tamara K. Sturgell requested officers’ assistance at the Blue Stone Inn while she retrieved property. Sturgell became argumentative, created a disturbance and ignored the officer’s orders. Sturgell was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing official business.

Aggravated Menacing: While investigating a possible domestic violence, officers discovered that Kyle Huston had threatened a female victim with serious physical harm. Huston was taken into custody and charged with aggravated menacing and disorderly conduct.

Oct. 26

Aggravated Menacing: At 1:52 a.m., emergency room staff reported that a male patient did not want to leave after being treated, and made verbal threats of serious physical harm to staff members. The male, identified as Chad A. Tyo, was arrested for the offense.

Oct. 25

Theft/Criminal Trespass: At 12:15 p.m., an employee of Walmart reported that a female concealed merchandise and attempted to depart the store without paying for the item, and had previously been banned from the property. The female, identified as Ann M. Stephenson, was arrested for the listed offenses.

Theft: At 3:42 p.m., an employee of Kroger reported that a female concealed merchandise and departed the store without paying for the items. The female, identified as Jodi L. Ford, was arrested for the offense.

Misuse of Credit Card/Receiving Stolen Property: At 4:23 p.m., Ryan Hollingsworth reported that unknown person(s) used his stolen debit card to make unauthorized purchases at a local business.

Oct. 24

Theft/Criminal Damaging: At 4:55 p.m., David Laytart reported that unknown person(s) removed several Halloween decorations from the front yard and did damage to others they left behind.

Burglary: At 11:22 p.m., Della Riley reported that unknown person(s) forced entry into her residence and removed property.

Oct. 23

Theft/Possessing Criminal Tools: At 4:58 p.m., the Washington Police Department is currently investigating a report of unknown person(s) using a skimmer device to obtain account information from the Merchants Bank ATM.

Criminal Damaging: Michael Chrisman reported that unknown person(s) punctured all four tires on his 2002 Jeep while it was parked in front of his residence.
