JACKSON — The Frontier Athletic Conference held its first girls’ golf championship match Saturday in Jackson.
Hillsboro won the tournament with a team score of 190 to finish the 2017 season with a perfect conference record of 9-0.
McClain was second with a 203 and placed second in the conference with a record of 6-3.
Miami Trace shot a 235 for their first win of the season, placing ahead of Jackson with a 239.
Jackson went 2-7 on the season and Miami Trace was 1-8.
Kirstin Jamieson shot the low score of 34 and was named Player of the Year in the FAC.
Also being named First Team, All-FAC are: Bryn Karnes, McClain (45); Emily Loudin, Hillsboro (43); Kyleigh Phillips, Jackson (52); Kendall Pollard, McClain (52); Elissa Grate, McClain (62); Larkin Parry, Hillsboro (56).
Tanner Bryant shot the low score of 52 for Miami Trace.
Other scores for the Lady Panthers: Shelbie Rowan, 56; Maddi Wallace, 63; McKenzie Dunn, 64; Taylor Perkins, 71 and Bridget Perkins, 72.
