Altrusa Literacy Committee recently performed a random act of kindness by delivering a new crock pot with household items of laundry detergent, toilet tissue, paper towels, plates, napkins, trash bags and cleaning products to the Brick House Community Shelter.
The Brick House Community Shelter in Washington Court House helps families facing homelessness in Fayette County and is dedicated to helping others build a strong foundation to live productive, self-sufficient lives.
Altrusa of Washington Court House members believe practicing acts of kindness in our daily lives will benefit our world, our communities, our schools, our places of business and our families. In truth, it is often asked; who benefits most from an act of kindness, the giver or the recipient?
