One injured in two-vehicle accident

One driver in a two-vehicle accident, at the intersection of Gibbs Avenue and Delaware Street Thursday, was transported by Fayette County EMS to the Fayette County Memorial Hospital, according to the Washington Police Department. The injuries sustained were non-life threatening and traffic in the area was slightly congested as the WPD officer assisted at the scene.
