Saturday Farm Market will host several special events

This Saturday’s Fayette County Farm Market hosts several special events. At the “information booth,” kids will be able to make a terrarium! All the materials are provided and there is no cost. The Walters/Day/Bick family will also host a free children’s event at their baked goods vendor booth.

Cathy Ludi, of Forgotten Way Farms, will be hosting a class at 10 a.m. in the space next to her vendor tent (on the north side of the lot, near the cleaners and the information booth). This class is free and open to the public with a special call out to parents and teachers. Cathy will share information about ESSENTIAL OILS and how they may help you not only “survive, but THRIVE, this upcoming school year.”

And that’s not all! Many vendors have samples available and the good company, delightful weather (we hope), and ambiance all are available at not cost. See you at the Market!

The Market is open every Saturday morning from 8:30 to noon and is located in the municipal parking lot on the corner of South Main and East East streets in Washington C.H. SNAP EBT food benefit cards, Senior Farm Market coupons and credit/debit cards are accepted—stop by the FM “Info and Children’s Booth” (beside the Sunshine Cleaners) for assistance. Those using the SNAP EBT card for produce receive matching dollar VeggieSNAP tokens ($1 for $1) for additional fruits and vegetables. So,”buy one, get one” for fruit and vegetables, up to $10 EVERY market day.
