The Fayette County Fair got underway with a lot of excitement Monday as a pair of twin calves were born on the grounds. “Mrs. Beasley,” the project of Michael Schappacher, gave birth to a bull and a heifer during the fair. Schappacher is currently holding a naming contest and is encouraging fair-goers to stop by the dairy barn to write a suggestion.
