The Community Grief Workshop, sponsored by Fayette County AmVets and Hospice of Fayette County, will meet at Roberts’ Funeral Home, 509 Washington Ave. in Washington C.H., on Tuesday, June 6.

The purpose behind these quarterly workshops is to help those who are dealing with a loss better understand the grief journey. The old adage the more you know the better you can cope holds true for the grieving process, too. Although grief is an individual journey for each of us, there are common milestones. By becoming aware of these milestones the journey can be made somewhat easier. The cause of the grief may vary, but the grief journey is very similar.

The two-hour, interactive workshop is free to the public. The workshop will begin at 7 p.m. and last approximately two hours.
