According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

April 30

Inducing Panic: At 1:05 p.m., officers responded to 809 N. North St. on a report of a possible drug overdose. Officers found Mark Wickensimer under the influence of heroin. Wickensimer was charged with inducing panic.

Inducing Panic/Drug Abuse Instruments: At 2:57 p.m., officers responded to 332 Western Ave. on a call of a possible drug overdose. Officers found Paul W. Smith under the influence of heroin and in possession of a hypodermic syringe. Smith was charged with inducing panic and possession of drug abuse instruments.

Theft: At 9:32 p.m., employees of Pettit’s gas station reported a shoplifter in the store. Officers located Holden Whaley in possession of several candy bars he had concealed on his person. Whaley was charged with theft.

Theft: At 9:59 p.m., Gwendolyn O’Donnell of 613 Village Court, Apt. G reported someone stole her cell phone from her front porch.

April 29

Criminal Damaging: At 1:43 a.m., Melissa McKnight reported that during an altercation between persons at her residence a known female broke the glass on her front door.

April 28

Theft: At 6:22 a.m., Linda Lee reported that unknown person(s) entered a detached garage and removed property.

Violation of Protection Order: At 2:54 p.m., officers were called to an address on Aspen Drive in reference to a complaint of a protection order violation. After investigation by officers, a protection order was in place and a section of the order had been violated. Crystal Fields was charged with the offense.

Theft/Breaking & Entering: At 5:41 p.m., Robert Rea reported that sometime over the past week, unknown person(s) entered his garage and removed his red 2007 Ford F-250 pickup truck.
