According to reports, the Washington C.H. Police Department responded to the following calls:

Oct. 2

Theft: At 2:53 a.m., Scott Smallwood reported that unknown person(s) removed property from his residence without his knowledge.

Oct. 1

Disorderly Conduct/Obstructing Official Business: At 2:10 a.m., officers at Winkin Willy’s had contact with a patron involved in an argument, who was warned about his behavior and advised to depart the area. The male, identified as Kevin D. Terry, failed to cease his turbulent behavior and was arrested for disorderly conduct. Terry was additionally charged with obstructing official business for his actions during his arrest.

Criminal Damaging: At 2:46 a.m., Richard Nichols reported that during an argument with a known female, she threw a beer bottle at his vehicle’s windshield causing damage.

Theft: At 10:34 a.m., Bradley Brown reported that sometime over the past week, unknown person(s) removed his wallet from his residence.

Burglary: At 3:51 p.m., John Russell reported that unknown person(s) entered his residence and removed property.

Drug Abuse/Tampering with Evidence: At 9:45 p.m., officer were dispatched to an unresponsive male at an address on North Main Street. Upon arrival officers assisted EMS, who were treating the male. A female resident who was also present came into the room and began to gather items and departed toward the bathroom in an attempt to conceal the items. The female was detained and the items were found to be illegal drugs. The female, identified as Melissa M. Hagler, was arrested for the listed offenses.

Sept. 28

Theft: At 1:01 p.m., Katheryn Dolinskas reported that unknown person(s) removed property from her residence without her permission.

Theft: At 8:13 p.m., an employee of Winkin Willy’s reported that an unknown patron removed cash from behind the bar without their knowledge.
