A variety of strawberries available at Market

At least four vendors are bringing strawberries to the Fayette County Farmers Market this Saturday. Won’t it be great to taste all the different varieties and then make a choice? Ask the vendor for a sample and maybe even inquire about the variety’s name.

The following list contains the names and products of the vendors that expect to set up for Saturday’s market. The market is open every Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. to noon and is located in the municipal parking lot on the corner of South Main and East East streets in Washington C.H.

SNAP EBT food benefit cards and credit/debit cards are accepted. We are offering a new program called veggie SNAPS and it permits those who use a SNAP EBT card for food items to receive matching dollar tokens (one for one) for additional fruits and vegetables. Its a BOGO for fruit and vegetables, up to $10 every market day! Be sure to ask David about the new veggie SNAPS produce program for SNAP EBT cards.
