Ohio Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor visited Fayette County on Wednesday and visited several area locations. Here, Taylor and State Sen. Bob Peterson (R-District 17) visit SugarCreek Packing at 2101 Kenskill Ave. in Washington C.H. They also made a stop at Bluegrass Farms of Ohio, and Taylor was able to see a map of the county’s 1,600-acre mega-site located at the intersection of Interstate 71 and U.S. Route 35. “Because of (the mega-site’s) location and because of its readiness with all of the appropriate utilities, I think it’s a great site,” Taylor said. “It sounds like we had a couple of near misses in the past as far as getting employers. But it’s a great site and we should focus on finding the right opportunity for the right company to locate there.”
